The Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) is a Quality Council established in 2010 in terms of the Skills Development Act (Act 97 of 1998) as amended in 2008. The QCTO also offers guidance to skills development providers (private and public) and assessment centres who must be accredited by the QCTO in order to implement occupational qualifications.
ISO9001:2015 – ISO 9001 is defined as the international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system (QMS). Organizations use the standard to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.
American Heart Association – The American Heart Association (AHA), a national, non-profit, voluntary health agency funded by private contributions, is dedicated to the reduction of death and disability from cardiovascular diseases including heart diseases and stroke.
TETA - Transport Education Training Authority (TETA) is one of the 21 SETAs mandated to facilitate skills development and training in different economic sectors of South Africa. TETA’s areas of operation cut across rail, aerospace, maritime, road freight, road passenger, taxi, freight handling, and forwarding and clearing subsectors. The authority is committed to ensuring that through the implementation of the National Skills Development Plan (NSDP) a pool of individuals highly skilled, competitive and competent to function effectively within the transport sector is built.
SACAA - provides for the establishment of a stand-alone authority mandated with controlling, promoting, regulating, supporting, developing, enforcing and continuously improving levels of safety and security throughout the civil aviation industry. The SACAA is an agency of the Department of Transport (DoT).
NAMB - To ensure the credibility of trade test assessments conducted, all assessors and moderators conducting trade test assessments and moderations of trade test assessments will be registered by the NAMB as an Assessment Quality Partner for trades of the QCTO.
