The aim of the course is designed to provide the learner with the knowledge and practical training with regards to identifying hazards and risks within the workplace and correct them to avoid incidents/accidents from occurring. Loss can be described as loss of life, process, facility and/or equipment. On completion of the training the learner will be equipped the knowledge and practical training experience to provide assistance at incidents and accidents. Identify and assess the hazards in each area of operation. To conduct health and safety inspections Evaluate the appropriate precautionary measures needed to mitigate the hazard. Take steps to correct deviations and non-compliance. Provide appropriate training in the risks and behavioral requirements. Enforce legislative, preventative and corrective measures.​
