The purpose of this course is to provide students (who conform to the above entry level criteria) with theoretical knowledge regarding the purpose, description and basic operation of a Helicopter and its systems. Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to apply their prior knowledge, skills and experience, in conjunction with the information contained in this course, when performing the required maintenance and support. Additionally this course complies with SACAA requirements to enable successful students to apply for their AME rating.
